A harpist who has spread the beautiful sound of the harp in very unique, creative and avant garde ways throughout many concert halls in her career. 

Born in Torreon, Coah. Mexico, Maryen Munoz studied with Polish Ursula Mazurek at the Superior School of Music in Monterrey, Mexico from 1981 to 1987. During the period from 1988 to 1991, she studied under Mercedes Gomez, in Mexico City.
